enthusasts and/or model rail club?
Possible Benifits could be:
Arranged visits to rail installations such as depots (subject to
terms of TOCs)
A chance to chat and make new friends with similar
interests
A chance to set up a MRC and share skills and ideas
A discount scheme could be considered to purchases in our shop by
members
Eventually a chance to have a local Exibition
Trading/swaping of surplus items
We are looking for members of all ages and all skill levels

Although I am assisting in compiling the lists of interested
parties there is no other link between the proposed club and North London
Models.
26/02/04 Update
We curently have 4-7 people interested but need about 10-15
(minimum) people to justfy setting up a local club, looking at the
attendance at Alexandra Palace Show there is certainly no shortage of
people within travelling distance. Regular visitors to the shop are slowly
meeting each other this has given rise to new friendships and visits to
each others layouts are planned.
Other Clubs
Other clubs just outsde our area are based in Kings Cross and
there are 2 clubs in Enfield, Whitewebbs MRC and Enfield Town MRC both
have Annual Exibitions that we attend.
