Is Ebay Safe?

On the ebay site there is a full explanation of why ebay is a safe medium to do business, briefly each time you do a transaction using ebay you are encouraged to leave comments about the service you received, these comments are called feedback and can be positive, neutral or negative. The positives (or negatives) add up or get deducted to give a feedback rating, this is displayed in brackets after the username. Clicking on this number brings up anything anyone else has written about this person for you to read (Only people who have done a transactions between each other can leave comments). Anyone who has repeatedly bad comments is best avoided. Like anything in life you  may get the odd dishonest person once identified ebay prevent them buying or selling on the system.

Remember when bidding your bid is a contract to buy if you win, also always read the offer carefully making a note of any extras like postage VAT etc and check what methods of payment are accepted.

The Great thing about ebay is it is great fun and can be addictive, buy bargains or find rare items, Sell old items you don't want anymore, I remember listing an item expecting about a fiver-it sold for £72!
